Allison's Teaching Style & Approach
How do you present material to students?
I present using on-screen demonstrations while asking my students to follow along on their own computer screens. So much of social media is tied to our online identities, we need to be able to troubleshoot sign-up/sign-in issues right away in class.
What kind of classroom dynamic do you promote?
I encourage hands-on and collaborative learning in the classroom. Online resources change daily so I encourage students to share any questions or new resources they have.
How do you interact & work with your students?
I talk during the class, usually a few minutes to present the information. Then I ask strategic questions and offer hands-on tutoring as needed. Outside of class time, I prefer communicating over email.
