The ukulele is a small instrument that is fun to play and quick to learn and so it is a great way to get started playing music.

Playing the ukulele is a great way to accompany yourself singing.

It is also a great way to learn a stringed instrument since many skills you will learn are transferable to other instruments.

Discover right and left hand techniques, chords, rhythms and melodies.

Explore tuning, music theory and the fingerboard as well.

You will also learn songs and rhythm that will be useful building blocks in expanding your ability to learn ukulele and music in general.

Enjoy guidance from a professional local musician and meeting other people with shared interests.

  • Tuner
  • Optional: a strap

Learning Outcomes

  • Acquired fundamental ukulele skills, many of which are transferable to other stringed instruments.
